With our digital imaging service, there is no need to just imagine the possibilities. Send us photographs or digital files of your patients and we’ll send back three 8.5 X 11 prints with before and after views, as well as the digital files. This allows you to show smile design options to your patients and visually demonstrate what they can expect.
Diagnostic wax-ups are an excellent tool to allow your patients to preview the smile design for an optimal result. Our diagnostic wax-ups are artistically created for you and your patient on hard white stone duplicate casts. These delicate casts are returned to you in plastic cast “safes”. These ensure safe transport and storage of your delicate diagnostic wax-ups. Your original casts are routinely preserved for use as a reference point in patient treatment.
After patient and doctor approval diagnostic wax-ups may be converted to temporaries or templates.
Custom shade appointments at Dickerman Dental Prosthetics can range from 15 minutes to several hours for one low fee. When we see patients for shade taking they are given an explanation detailing the intricacies of what we are tasked to achieve for them. If required after fabrication we are available for final characterization of their prosthesis while they wait.
Our technicians apply their skills and experience to capture intricate nuances and characteristics in color, hue and chroma for the most precise shade matching. We utilize the Nikon D7000 with a dual point flash set-up to guarantee outstanding photographic results.
